Scholarship Renewal

Scholarship Renewal

The Hudson & Holland Scholars Program Scholarship, once awarded, can be renewed each year for scholars pursuing an undergraduate degree (up to 8 semesters). After the first year as a scholar, your IU cumulative GPA (cGPA), in addition to full-time enrollment, will determine eligibility for HHSP scholarship renewal. The cGPA will be reviewed for renewal at the end of each academic year after spring semester grades are posted. Students must maintain a cGPA of 3.000 and above to successfully renew the HHSP award. The HHSP scholarship will be renewed automatically for students with a cGPA of 3.000 and above – there is no need to reapply for the award. Every renewal is for a period of one academic year.

Scholars with a cGPA below 3.000 will have a comprehensive review of their academic progress to determine their HHSP scholarship renewal status. Scholars who do not meet the renewal criteria are ineligible to receive the scholarship but may be reinstated through a successful appeal. To start the appeals process, students must contact the HHSP Retention Specialist.

Success is to be measured not so much by the position that one has reached in life as by the obstacles which he has overcome.
