Full-time Enrollment Requirement
To remain in good standing within the scholarship program, you must also be enrolled full-time, defined as 12 or more credit hours per semester. Scholars who meet this credit requirement are eligible to receive the scholarship, contingent upon their cGPA. While 12 credit hours is the minimum, HHSP recommends enrolling in 15 credit hours each fall and spring semester, if possible, to help ensure timely progress toward degree completion and graduation within four years.
Full-time Enrollment Exemption for Graduating Seniors
In certain cases, Hudson & Holland seniors may need fewer than 12 credit hours in their final semester to complete their degree requirements and graduate. For these students, HHSP allows part-time enrollment (fewer than 12 credit hours) while still maintaining scholarship eligibility. This exception is only applicable during the final semester when the student is set to graduate.
Graduating seniors will be notified in the spring of junior year (for fall graduates) or in the fall of senior year (for spring graduates) to confirm if they plan to enroll full- or part-time. Part-time students can request full-time enrollment exemption at that time.
Note: You should first consult financial aid specialists at Student Central to inquire about potential impacts your part-time status may have on your other financial aid.
